First Trimester....

...now entering second trimester.

Matthew and I look at this journey as if we are actually pregnant....you see pregnant couples have to wait nine long months...40 weeks....280 days. So we have made it throught the most critical three months in tack and enjoying the glowing stage....according to friends the first three months you can't keep anything down, you can't get enough sleep, and you have to go get a whole new wardrobe! Second Trimester - you now have your energy back so to speak, can keep down your food, and life is grand....and well the third you start the agongy all over again - the new clothes you bought are now TIGHT, you can't see your feet, your tired, and can't go five feet without having to pee! So with all that said, maybe this adoption trip has it's perks! My sister claims we are definitely getting the best end of the deal with pregancy - our child ---to quote her " You don't have to buy a new wardrobe, your hips will stay right where the good Lord put them, no ugly stretch marks that no amount of shea butter could have prevented, and you won't have saggy boobs before your 80!"

Things have been going well. We are members of an email notification service from an adotpion attorney in FLA. We have been provided information on a situation and we have provided our profile to him to present. She will get our info on or about March 1st. Keep us in your prayers and we will keep you posted!

Love
LeAnna, Matthew, and Moseley

wow, I will most certainly keep you in my prayers. I work in marketing with adoption & foster care in Canada and I know exactly what it's like to be waiting, but on the flip side I've met some of the most amazing families who wouldn't have been the same without waiting for the right child for them.

good luck with everything!
you're wonderful people :)

I know you are anxiously awaiting for a baby to come into your lives. But I agree - just hang on and the PERFECT baby for you and Matt will be on his/her way to you soon (or might be right now - who knows)! And yes, you'll never have to worry about your girlie figure being stretched! :)
