It's been a while...

It's been a while. I ran into a friend of my mine (fellow blogger) who said that I have been slacking after commenting to her that I have kept up with their family via their blog. So I figured an update is well over due.

So what have we been up to lately you may ask...or really "What has Patrick been up to?" Over the course of the last three weeks we have progressed from the Frankenstein walk, to the last drunk man at the party, to a slow run. He now can get to a standing position without holding on to something and prefers walking over crawling.

Oh, and he LOVES TO DANCE! His latest favorites are Tim McGraw and the Imagination Movers.

Patrick also had his first playdate this week with his best bud Tyler. All went well. No major battle over toys and no major meltdowns.

For the Fourth we traveled to Matthew's sister's house. Along the way we stopped off to see our friend Amy and for some supper. Patrick did amazing for the 7.5 hour drive. Last weekend we made a whirlwind tour by visiting my family due to a passing of a family member and then off to Matthew's hometown to visit our close circle of friends who were all in from faraway places. It was great to see everyone.

We are settling in to our new home. Just a few boxes left.
