...a new Catholic Christian has arrived! Yesterday we had William Christened, which is the first sacrament of being a Catholic. It was a beautiful day! We had family and friends come in from all over via car and plane to celebrate William's baptism.
William was so entertained by Father throughout the ceremony. However, there was a moment we all held our breath as he stuck out that bottom lip and it started to quiver...but a little bouncing brought that smile right back!
And he didn't even cry when Father poured the water over his head three times!
Patrick even got to hold the baptismal candle after Father had performed his blessing. There were a few close calls with the flame and those precious curls...but in the end we escaped a fire! And big brother did correct Father very loudly when he announced William's full name - William Thomas, that it was William Patrick Thomas (he is in denial that his name is William Thomas). Father just gave me a look and I whispered - "just go with it."

Both your boys are just beautiful. Am so glad so many of your friends and family were able to share this special moment. What better gift could one give a child than the family of Christ. Congratulations! Kaki and Chris
