Patrick - you are the absolute love of your mommy and daddy's life...and A LOT of other people as well. For many special people came to your birthday party to celebrate your big day. Some walked, some drove hundreds of miles, and one even flew on a big airplane just to let you know that you are loved!
Your birthday party theme this year was "On the Farm" and mommy and daddy turned the front yard into a mini farm for you and your friends. We had someone bring in a petting zoo complete with a miniature horse, two goats, some bunny rabbits, and a mininature cow! We even had a painted pony for you and your friends to ride on! And all of the animals were decked out with red bandanas to match your theme. Mommy and Tia April baked two of your cakes - a cow and a pig. You also had a red cupcake cake in the shape of a number 2! The rain held off so you were able to ride the horse, pet the animals in the petting zoo, devour a red iced cup cake and share your newest toy that your Papa T bought you (a sand/water table) with all of your friends! You also received a lot of cool gifts - summer is going to be so much fun!

Just to let you know what you are up to nowadays - You are talking up a storm - clear and in full sentences. You amaze us everyday. There isn't a food you will turn down, except really cold ice cream! You have a lot of friends who you like to call on your play cell phone and you call them all by name. You still sleep 10-12 hours a night and you are starting to use the big boy potty! You love to throw balls (all types) and you are perfecting your catch. You also enjoy reading (your favorite book is 'How does a dinosaur say good night?'). We love you tons and are excited about next year!

A message to all of our family & friends:
Thank you to everyone for coming to Patrick's party on the farm. Many drove several hours, one flew on a plane, and some stayed in hotel rooms just to share your love for our son. Words cannot explain our gratitude or how blessed we truly are to have such great family and friends. Two years ago today God answered our prayers and those of many family and friends by sending us our son. He continues to brighten our days and all of those around him. Just your presence yesterday was the best gift you could have given and we are thankful for that and those that you gave.
For those who have our website - Matthew has posted a full page of all the fun from Saturday. If you don't have the website, please e-mail me and I will be glad to send it to you.
