Our little man ...

...is getting so BIG!

For the past 5 weeks we have been attending a bible study on Wednesday nights (yes Catholics do attend church other than on Saturday/Sunday!). We chose the Wednesday night class because they offered babysitting in the nursery. So on Wednesday nights we rush home, eat dinner, and give Patrick a bath. He is usually dressed in his PJs since we don't get home till after his bedtime. Well last night we put on his light jacket due to it being a little chilly. Once on, he insisted upon wearing his hood. He didn't want to take it off upon our arrival at church and to our utter amazement didn't take it off the full 2 hours he was in the nursery (hood and all). So once we got home and headed toward his bed he declared he was going to sleep in his jacket. I have no idea what it was about that jacket last night...but he sure did love it - and looked soooo cute with his hood on and his hands in his pocket!


This morning Matthew and Patrick headed to the dentist for Patrick's six month check-up. Now we have been going to Dr. Cook since Patrick turned 1 and he is pretty good about letting them check his teeth out. In the past they brushed his teeth to clean them and counted them. Well today he was a big boy and let them clean his teeth while laying in the big kids chair! Daddy proudly shot this picture to show me how good of a little patient he was! And great report - our last few molars are making their way through...no more till he turns about 6 when his baby teeth begin to be replaced with his adult teeth!
