Letter to Patrick

Dearest Patrick - I just wanted to let you know a few of your favorite things right now.

Favorite Movie - Incredibles. Now we did not discover this until your daddy bought you a pack of Disney Super Hero undies and one pair had Mr. Incredible on them. We then bought the movie once we asked you if you had seen it at school (since at the time we did not own it) and you said no. Now the movie is on repeat - you have watched it numerous times over this wintery weekend by request.

Newest accomplishment - Able to put your shoes and socks on by yourself and on the correct foot! You insist on having shoes on from the time you get out of bed and it is a fight to get them off for nap time and bedtime. Guess we will be working on the 'getting dressed by yourself' task from the ground up!

You have had a new imaginary friend for some time now, which you refer to as 'brother'. When asked what his name is you say 'Shelton' (which is the name of your PreK3 teacher's oldest daughter). When we ask you where he is at, you always say 'at work'.

You love to pretend you are flying (I think this is because you refer to yourself as 'Incredi Boy' which is a character in the Incredibles movie that has shoes that make him fly!

You are the love of our lives and light up every room you enter.
