Mom has SUPER POWERS!

So Patrick has really picked up on bad guy vs good guy in the movies lately. For example, as mentioned in an earlier post, we have been watching the movie the Incredibles A LOT! Oh and Scooby Doo Meets Batman movie came in via Netflix on Friday. So we must have our shoes on so we can fly like the 'bad guy' in the Incredibles. He has requested his dad play the 'mean robot' and he is going to play the super hero....then chimes in his name is Robin (i.e. Batman and Robin)....so fast forward to tonight after bathtime.

Now keep in mind that we must keep Patrick's bedroom door shut at all times to keep JuJu from 'stealing' his friends and blankees from his bed. So seeing his door shut is a common occurrence around here.

So we head down the hall towards Patrick's room to get him dressed. Matthew is carrying the hooded super hero and tries to open the door. Uh Oh...wait for it...it's LOCKED! So I quickly walked to the playroom which has a set of french doors going to his bedroom. Luckily the door was unlocked. I quietly opened the door, shut it, and then went and unlocked Patrick's bedroom door and opened it. I wish I could have taken a picture of Patrick's face. I told him I had super powers and was able to get in and unlock the door. He looked at me and said "you were invisible?" I said "yes"....now he thinks his mom has her own super powers. I told him that yes I can be invisible...so he better be good all the time because you never know where mom will be!

Love this age of innocence....now wonder how long I can get away with my 'super power'??
