Our Chirpy Chick's First Day at PreK4

So this morning was our Chirpy Chick's first day of PreK4. To say he was excited was quite an understatement. He could not go to sleep last night he was so excited. He awoke this morning and requested eggs for breakfast...which his mother gladly obliged - cheesy scrambled eggs and a glass of milk. After breakfast he eagerly got dressed in his new uniform and grabbed his bags to go....but not before Dad snapped a few pictures....
And to see how much a year can change someone....check out these comparison photos from last year and this year!So we headed out this morning and just like last year I loaded up Patrick in the van and Matthew followed us on our way to school. Right before we got there Matthew parked and jumped in the van with us so that we could do dropoff together....and to capture the moment! We pulled up to the front of the school and waited for the teachers to come out and get them from the cars (we were not allowed to bring them in). As I saw the teachers heading out the door, I opened up Patrick's van door and he jumped right on out! He was so excited. I quickly reminded him to get back in the van and that his teacher was to take him out...so he jumped right back in. By this time the teacher had made her way to the van and was so sweet reminding him to turn around for pictures.
And our Chirpy Chick...he did just that! I will post an update this evening recapping his day! Needless to say I can't wait for 4:30 to come around so I can pick him up and hear all about it!
