While his big brother was out of town living it up with Maw Maw, William decided that it was time for him to visit the after hours clinic for the first time. After tugging on his right ear for two days at day care, we decided that before we are up all night due to an ear ache, we would get things checked out. So Wednesday evening we brought William in to our pediatric after hours clinic that our pediatrician participates in. We found out that tugging ears was yet ANOTHER symptom of teething. Yes folks ears were perfectly clear. We added the ear tugging to the drooling, not so solid diapers, fussy, lack of wanting to eat, and the daily game of "How much of my fist can I shove in my mouth?" The only symptom we haven't had is low grade fever. And folks there are not teeth in sight! His top gums are swollen but no bumps on the top or bottom. Looks like we have a ways to go....but the boy is growing...despite his lack of desire to eat the past few days. On Wednesday, William weighed in at 15 pounds 14 ounces...just two ounces shy of 16 pounds! Guess this old scale I purchased for props was a little off last Saturday!
