We made it home yesterday afternoon and are settling in just fine. Patrick did very well on both flights. He didn't even utter a peep in over 6 hours in the air. I think I was more nervous than he was! We are settling in. I now understand what parents mean about washing loads (yes multiple) of laundry each day for just your child (yes singular). Matthew went and purchased his mobile today for his bed and he loves it. We also tried out his swing that his Aunt Mindy let us borrow and he liked that too. He is sleeping comfortably in both his bed and his cradle that his Papa John made. All in all we are doing just fine and are very glad to be home.
Our wonderful neighbor Allison picked us up at the airport and upon arriving home his Godfather Malcolm had picked up a big blue bow and an "It's A Boy!" balloon for the mailbox. My good friend Emily and Allison's Mom, Mrs. Judy, were here to meet us as well. After eating a delicious supper and dessert prepared by Allison, we drifted off to sleep while we could because we knew what was in store! Patrick slept very well and his parents are learning to sleep according to his schedule.
Well I will post more later...it's 6:45 and Patrick is waking up for his next feeding. Boy that boy loves to eat!
