Well the pictures I posted earlier captures our son when he is himself. This morning was not the case. So we head back to the pediatric after hours clinic. Luckily our pediatrician was on duty. So after we weighed in at 16 lbs 10 ozs, yes that is 10 oz in 14 days, we determined that in fact Patrick's right ear was showing signs of another ear infection. Now two weeks ago today we had an infection in both, with the left being the worst. Well the left is completely clear, but the right was starting to look red. On top of that, the Dr felt Patrick's stomach and said that he thinks he might be coming down with something viral and asked if he had a lot of gas lately. Our answer was yes, but without fever and no runny diapers, we didn't think anything of it. So we left with a prescription for another antibotic and some high power gas drops (with three refills)...no more over the counter stuff. I asked how many ear infections we had to have before seeing an ENT for a tubes consult. He said 5. So we have three in two weeks...so we are half way there. Now I am not one who is eagerly awaiting this procedure. However, I do know that if my child continues to have these infections that I want it done before he is one because I don't want his speach and hearing impaired (basically speech delayed) due to him unable to hear because of the fluid build up. So we are feeling better this evening...smiles did return for a brief period. He did enjoy watching the Colts vs the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football. We were pulling for the Colts because of a former Tiger on the team....not because of the Mannings! Geaux Tigers! The smell of Football is in the air!

Sweet baby boy.... I'm glad you're staying on top of those dratted ear infections. The beauty of all this is that he won't remember a minute of all this junk!
Leanna, Uncle Raymond and I just looked at all the new pictures and the christening pictures. Your BABY is just too precious. I am sorry he has had ear problems but it will all be okay, because I know his parents are GREAT. He is beautiful and so are you. We love all of you!
Le, he is soo cute! That smile is just adorable! You are so right to stay on top of those ear infections - my niece is in speech therapy because of her's. Give him a big squeeze for me!
