Here we go....

So we went to the ENT this morning. To bring you up to quick speed since Monday. Monday night Patrick nor his parents slept more than 3 hours collectively. So on Tuesday morning we went to see our doctor. He confirmed the left ear was infected (again) and that the right ear was not far behind. So after some blood work to rule out anything else, we were told to stop the antibiotic we were given on Monday. We got our first Rocephin shot (we had another today, and get our last one tomorrow). While waiting to see if we would have a reaction, our nurse scheduled us an appointment with a Pediatric ENT for this morning. After a brief rundown with our new doctor of the last month's events, we all came to an agreement that Patrick needs tubes! So this Friday (yes this week) we will be getting tubes. It really helps to have friends in high places (Thank you Angie B.!) And the ENT is awesome. He is so wonderful! Can't sing his praises enough!

So hopefully we won't have any repeats of Monday night in our near future! Yeah!
