Hello 2008...

... Patrick welcomes you with open arms!

We hope everyone had a safe and wonderful New Year. Matthew and I enjoyed a date night last night (dinner and a movie) while Patrick enjoyed a visit with his favorite babysitter - Hannah. We rang in the new year quietly for we were all sound asleep. We did make some New Year Resolutions before calling it quts for 2007!

Patrick said that he would like to be in big boy undies by years end (mommy and daddy sure would enjoy the pay raise!). He also decided that enough is enough and that whatever Mom and Dad is having for dinner he wants to....not a big fan of special ordering in the Kitchen of Mamma! Hope he likes healthy food because Mom and Dad resolve to eat healthier and excercise more. (Mom even plans on actually working out at the gym she pays dues for twice a week thanks to Dad saying he would take over morning drop off duty those mornings she is hitting the gym!) Mom and Dad plan to go on a money diet while Patrick plans on going on a toy diet (we now have two playrooms - the toys have taken over!). Besides that we plan on having a happy and healthy (please Lord please!) 2008.

Oh and dinner and movie was so great that Mom and Dad plan on a monthly date night! :-)
