So our venture into potty training started in February. We gradually stepped into the world. Lately, Patrick has been a on/off again with his interest. He knows the concept, just depends on whether or not he wants to participate.
Friday, Matthew picked up Patrick and noticed that his daily info sheet had "potty :-)" several times. Now Patrick has used the potty at home and at daycare, but was more consistent at home than at school. So on Friday we had a record day at school with FOUR successful trips to the potty. I decided that we needed to bring out the timer on Saturday. I found my timer and set it for 30 minutes and we went every time the timer beeped. Our result - we only had to change our pull-ups a total of three times today - 1:30 pm, 5:30 pm, and bedtime due to bath not accident. So maybe we are making more headway. He loves running to the bathroom to see if his 'stars' or 'wheels' are still on the front of his pants. (They disappear if he has an accident.) He then states 'only babies potty in their pants".....so we shall see. I am not getting my hopes way up over one day...but it is definitely PROGRESS!

Good for Patrick!! Cody is just the opposite--he is consistent at school and not so much at home. Goes like 7 times in potty at school and twice at home. Probably my fault :( Good luck in the next few weeks!!
