It's official....

...we have a JABBER BOX on our hands! For 27 months, Patrick sure is a talker. He gets it honest - from his Momma! Friends joke that my phone stays attached to my ear! Today we were riding around getting some errands done. Patrick quickly admits "music off". So down goes the volume of the radio and up goes the volume of Pat Pat Radio - First up on the play list "ABC song"....and to Matthew and myself's utter amazement...our sweet little one sang the ENTIRE song - correctly and clearly - even L, M, N, O, P was clear. At the end of the first rendition, I looked at Matthew and whispered "Did you hear that?!" Then Patrick hit "repeat" and sang it again. Next song up was "Itsy Bitsy Spider". We did get the ABC replayed and saved it on Matt's cell phone. This child continues to amaze us everyday.

Potty training is moving along...we set the timer for one hour and go, go, go. We make it a point to go before we head out the door and as soon as we get home....so far so good. I have purchased some little Diego and Thomas briefs...and we are going to "gasp" try wearing them around the house during the day and evenings to see how we do. Stickers have been quite helpful (remember the "blue tape" fasicination we had this past winter). He gets to pick out two stars each time he goes. It's affordable and works...so if you see pictures of Patrick with a star sticker here and there -cheeks, forehead, arms, hair - then you know what we have been up to and our success...he adores his stickers!

So besides trying to complete the last repairs due to the tornado (repainting the inside of the entire house!) that is what we are up to! By the way - we no longer sleep in a ketchup and mustard bedroom - one of our designers made the statement while painting our half bath - you really had ketchup, mustard, and relish!

Thanks for checking in!
LeAnna, Matthew, and Patrick

Cody is quite the chatter-box too. He and Harley have begun to have many verbal arguements and Cody holds his own well. Enjoyed the update...
