The Greatest Show on Earth....

...and we all got to go - to the CIRCUS!

The circus comes once a year and well we never have taken Patrick. First, I just don't think he was old enough to sit through the 2.5 hour show. Second, if we were going to spend that much money on a family event, I wanted to make sure that it was well worth it. I figured since Patrick is nearly 4.5 years old that he was old enough to appreciate the circus and the magical effect would still be there. I assumed there would be tons of "Wows" and starry eyed moments.
And it was well worth the wait. He enjoyed the acts and seeing the elephants. However, being that we had a full morning with no breaks, he did get antsy towards the end so we left before it was over, but all in all it was well worth the money we spent on tickets, having our picture taken to commemorate the occasion, and the over priced sword we purchased (as a reward for making it through Mass!). We did make it out without purchasing a $10 bag of cotton candy that came with a cheap wizards hat. But we did walk away with some wonderful memories and money in our bank account!

Guess we will wait another 4.5 years to take Patrick's baby brother William so he can too enjoy the Greatest Show on Earth...but this time he will be able to actually see the show and be too starry eyed and wowed.
