Oh what a week...

...it has been a long week for our family. We have had a lot going on and we are glad to see the weekend finally arrive.

Daycare was hard this week. First on Wednesday, our beloved Ms. Ollie retired. Patrick called Ms. Ollie 'Nona'. She was one of the beloved workers who took care of our little prince in the infant room. She sure had a way of providing a sense of peace and comfort for a first time momma leaving her little one. We will miss her smiling face, hugs, and kisses. Then today was Mrs. Marcie's last day. Mrs. Marcie is one of the teachers in Patrick's current room. She is going back to school to get her degree to teach. She was always honest in how our little man's action were for the day (let's just say he has been living up to his nickname "rocky" lately)...but also showed the utmost patience, love, and care. Our family was so blessed to have these ladies in our lives - as we are blessed to be able to have such a wonderful place to bring Patrick each and everyday.

Today, Patrick's Papa T arrived via a "big airplane" as Patrick would say. He is eating up all the attention and can't wait to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend by playing outside and swinigng!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
LeAnna, Matthew, and Patrick

I hear ya! What a week at Hope. :( I am devastated by Marcie leaving. Wesley is absolutely in LOVE with her. It's amazing how attached we are to the folks there. Such quality people. And, yes, Ms. Ollie was the main one who comforted me when I left W for the first few times.

Wow! You guys did have a big week. I hope we find the same love, care and support at our daycare. Any advice on how to get through that first day? Hope you all have a wonderful weekend
