Beach Vacation Part 2

When we last posted about our beach vacation, we were excitedly awaiting the arrival of my sister (Patrick's Nana) and her family. They arrived Thursday afternoon. Before heading out to see them and play on the beach, Matthew's dad and stepmother passed through town on their way to see some friends. So we met up with them at the local Starbucks and Patrick got to spend some time with his Papa and Mimi. As you can see Patrick loves to cut up with his Papa.After catching up with Dr. T and Reesie, we headed down to Santa Rosa where my sister and her family were staying. We had a blast playing on the beach and then heading over to Baytowne Wharf for some yummy food and fun.

Friday we enjoyed the company of my sister and her family at our hotel pool. After a few hours of splishing and splashing, everyone headed back to their respective places for naps. Naptime was followed by some yummy dinner prepared by Russell. Homemade meatballs and spaghetti. After dinner we headed down to the beach for family pictures. Matthew got to try out his new skills and lens. The kids had a blast and were rewarded with yummy ice cream.

Saturday morning we joined my sister and her family for breakfast before heading home. After saying our goodbyes and 8 hours on the road, we finally arrived home only to hear Patrick say "This is not our hotel!" Oh the joys of vacation!
