Visit with Santa...and our Elf has arrived

We made it back from our travels south. And in getting in the Christmas spirit today - we put up our tree with assistance from sweet little Mary...
... lights outside, and all of the past Santa photos, I thought I would share with you this year's visit with Santa.
He did really well..no fears..hopped right on up in his lap, and told him exactly what he wanted. I am so glad that he is really getting into the Christmas spirit.

Speaking of getting into Christmas spirit, our family elf made his appearance last night while Patrick was asleep. His name is Jack. Patrick awoke and was so excited to see his elf had arrived. He first proclaimed - "I got my magic elf first. Mine is the biggest ever!" I explained that Jack left us a book to read that tells us all about his magic. Let's just say that by the end Patrick was not too happy Santa sent a helper to report back each night his good deeds mishaps.
