Happy Mother's Day....

This weekend was full of fun. Our friends Chuck and Megan (aka Aunt Mae Mae & Uncle Charles) came down from Hernando to visit some family and decided to stay with us. Patrick had a blast playing ball (his Uncle Charles was trying to prepare him for the big leagues and thinks we have a lefty or switch hitter on our hands) and most importantly playing with the awesome bumble bee bubble wand that he received as a birthday gift along with gator golf. Patrick had a blast making bubbles and Moseley had a lot of fun trying to catch them. To see a great post with pictures all about our wonderful visit click here.

We enjoyed another birthday party at one of Patrick's classmates home - Lauren. He ate up the fact that he was the lone boy and was soaking up the attention. We enjoyed decorating our own cupcakes and eating them. Thank you Lauren for the invite!

We followed up the party with dinner and ice cream with Chuck and Megan before they headed back out of town. We sure enjoyed their visit and hope to see them again real soon!

Mother's Day was really RELAXING. I got to sleep in and was awaken by my gift and cards. Matthew and Patrick decided I needed a little more relaxation so they signed me up for an one hour relaxation message. I am so looking forward to that this week! We had a lazy day and enjoyed spending time together. We capped off the night by having our wonderful neighbor Hannah come over to spend some quality time with Patrick as we headed for a Mother's Day Dinner at Ruth's Chris. It was really yummy. The atmosphere was great - a really bad storm came through and caused the lights to go out so we had dinner by candle light/emergency lights....can't get more romantic than that people! All in all it was nice to get away and enjoy each other's company. Thank you Patrick and Matthew for a wonderful day!

Thinking about today, I think about all of the great mom's out there who deserve a lot of recognition for the job they do and for the sacrifices they make. Today is a day that I especially think about the sacrifice made by one mother so that I could be just that, a Mother. To this special woman, who I silently say a prayer for each night I kiss Patrick to bed, thank you is not enough to say for the sacrifice you made....by it's the closest thing I could ever put into words.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day!

Love
LeAnna, Matthew, and Patrick
