We are home...

We headed down south ... well further south ... for a trip to see my mom's side of the family this weekend.. And boy did I have a ton of fun. Here is a trip recap...

Friday - We headed down to my great grandparent's house where we stayed the weekend...Maw Maw Laura and Papa John. While swinging on the front porch and stirring my pot of beans bucket of Mardi Gras beads, my Paw Paw B called and said he was at the barn. So we headed over to saddle up and ride a pony ... then the rain came ... so instead I rode bare back on TJ ...

Mr. Ken even let me wear his cowboy hat!I loved hanging out at the barn with my Paw Paw B!

After getting back to Maw Maw's house, mom and dad discovered that my wheezing had started back, but they had packed my medicine and my breathing machine, but no nebulizer and mask...so with a quick phone call to the VaughnMom from Vauhgn Family Chaos...we headed over to pick up the essentials...thanks VaughnMom....it is great having friends in great places! By the way, I really want to come back and play with Frank-o's toys....

Saturday - We played it simple ...

we shot rockets with my Paw Paw B ...

I then baked a chocolate pink cake,
with a little assistance from Maw Maw Laura, for my Maw Maw Kat's birthday.

Next my mom headed out to my cousin Katherine's dance recital. I hear she was awesome and that ballet is definitely her style.

Sunday - After saying good bye to Paw Paw B, Maw Maw Laura and Papa John, we headed to Maw Maw Kat's and Papa's. Mom headed to brunch with my Nana, Maw Maw, and Grammy while Dad and I hung around with Papa. Afterwards we headed to the State Park close by to have a little fun in splashing around in the splash pad.

It didn't take me long to figure out how to work the spray gun!
I had a blast.

My cousin Katherine wasn't feeling like playing because she heard the thunder rumble off in the distance (it did end up raining and we had to leave, but not before I had my fun)
....cousin Ben did splash around a bit, but he didn't last long.I can't wait to go back next time!

After heading back to Maw Maw's we sang her Happy Birthday and ate some of the yummy chocolate pink cake before heading home.

Fun times were had by all...especially me!...and we can't wait to go back to visit real soon!
