So its now official - We are parents....and Patrick made sure we had absolutely no sleep last night! Thank goodnes for Maw Maw Kat flying out here to our rescue! We decided that we were going to tough it out with no help. So my mom went to her room and got some sleep. She came to our room at 7 am this morning and got Patrick. We got some much needed sleep. So now we have a little bit more energy. Patrick is doing great. He is eating like a little pig and sleeping soundly. Maw Maw Kat gave him his first little sponge bath and he smells so sweet. He has already outgrown one outfit....he is so long! Well we are fixing to eat some supper while all is quiet.
Tomorrow morning we all have to go to the agency office and sign some papers. Jane has to sign some papers for our home state (we had to wait till Patrick was 72 hours old before she could sign). Once that is done we just have to wait for the papers to be signed by our home state before we can come home (which will hopefully be Thurs/Friday).

I don't think there are words to tell you how happy I am for you. He looks so sweet in the pictures. I can't wait until you get home and get settled in so that I can come see him. :)

You have a handsome one! I read that he has a great appetite - good. I also read that he is kept ya'll up night! He prefers ya'll adjusting to his schedule for a while rather than him adjusting to ya'll's! ;) And I know that is okay with ya'll because he is so
darn sweet and lovable! :) Ray and I cannot wait to meet him! We will
eventually, but until then, take lots of pictures! Get him used to that flash at an early age! ;) We check ya'll's blog all the time...so please keep posting entries!
P.S. I bet Maw Maw Kat has been teaching ya'll a lot! I know things are a lot different re: babies now than they were when we were little. HOWEVER, I'm sure
she can teach you things that no book, video, or even a class could! ;) Tell her, your dad, and Angela I said Congratulations too! I know they are very, very excited! :)
