...many of you who truly "know" me, know that I have Cystic Fibrosis. This is one of the main reasons why Matthew and I chose to adopt and oh how we have been blessed. It was 23 years ago that I was diagnosed and brought back to health through the wonderful doctors and staff of the Children's Hopsital of New Orleans - which was at the time the closest Children's Hospital. We are now lucky enough to have a Children's Miracle Network hospital in Baton Rouge, my hometown. It is Our Lady of Lake Children's Hospital. Click here to watch a beautiful video made by a Christian group, Addison Road, who visited the hospital in March 2009.
Please remember these wonderful hospitals and say a prayer for all of those that the good Lord has blessed with the wonderful abilities to take care of His young flock. Unfortunately we have had to take Patrick to our local Children's Hospital for a minor outpatient surgery, tubes in his ears, but fortunately we have not had to take him for anything else. However, Matthew and I are thankful everyday that we have such a wonderful place to take him if the need ever arises.
Please remember the parents and children lying in these hospitals everywhere that the good Lord will watch over them and all of their wonderful caregivers.

We love you le! I think all of us who know you are very thankful for the doctors you mentioned. We wouldn't have been the same without knowing you!
Thank you Aimee! I am very lucky to have such a wonderful life filled with love, laughter, and wonderful family and friends!
